In February, GlobeCore Staff Visited Yerevan (Armenia) to Deliver Another Presentation on GlobeCore Equipment

The main audience was the representatives of the service companies, engaged in maintenance of oil-filled equipment or transmission and distribution companies.

They were interested in purification and regeneration of transformer oil that lost its performance characteristics during servicing.

Oil, processed on GlobeCore equipment can be placed back into service for which it was originally formulated that allows the equipment owners  to reduce costs on the new oil purchase and contribute the environment preservation.

To walk the talk, in the course of the lecture, our representatives demonstrated the UVR laboratory unit, using the samples of oil, unfit for further use. The obtained results confirmed once again that GlobeCore equipment can cope even with the most complicated tasks!

Our company has gained invaluable international experience and the representatives of the power industry in Armenia have received a great opportunity to solve the pressing problems, caused by using obsolete equipment and unworkable technologies.

GlobeCore Mobile Oil Recondition Station Designated as CFU With an Intermediate Container

We are glad to inform you that in December 2014, GlоbeCоre started to produce mobile oil stations designated as the CFU line that are equipped with an additional intermediate container.

The new CFU Mobile Oil Filtration Stations are designed to remove mechanical impurities and other contaminants from insulating and lubricating oils.  The units are able to extend the service life of the product being processed, provide trouble-free servicing and may be used directly at the remote operating site.

A proposed innovation: An additional intermediate container allows for collection of contaminated oil from tanks that located in different areas of the production shop.  To meet the customer’s order and needs, the processing power of mthe obile oil purification station may be increased from 160 litres per hour to 4 m3 of recycled oil per hour.  Additionally,  special filters may be mounted in the oil degassing station to remove moisture.

The filtering degree will also vary depending on the requirements specifications of the unit.

The Equipment Check Out in Uzbekistan

From time to time, GlоbeCоre inspects the equipment it has sold directly on the operating sites of its customers in order to monitor the long term condition of the equipment and gauge customer satisfaction.

Such check outs allow the company to get the customer’s comments as well as some technical information that can be useful while improving existing units and developing new ones.

At the beginning of December 2014, the managers of GlоbeCоre had a business trip to Uzbekistan, where the CMM-1.0 mobile oil station had been operating for five years.  This equipment is used to remove water and mechanical impurities from dielectric insulating oil.

The check out showed that the CMM-1.0 unit had processed many, many tons of transformer oil during its five year service life.  The customers from Uzbekistan described the GlobeCore equipment to be reliable and effective and can reasonably expect to containue receive many more years of reliable service.

A New GlobeCore CMM-10A Oil Purification Unit Was Sold to Poland

GlobeCore Checked Operation of the Equipment for Oil Purification at Hydroelectric Power Plant

GlobeCore delegation visited a hydroelectric power plant (HEPP)  April 24, 2015.

Considering that HEPP oil complex is fitted with GlobeCore equipment – the purpose of the visit was to check the current condition of installations.  In particular, GlobeCore examined turbine oils filtration, purification and oil recycling plants.

HEPP uses oil-products in large quantities since they perform very important functions as:

  • lubrication of bearings and transmissions of primary and auxiliary equipment;
  • lubrication of controls.

The operating of hydraulic turbine influences turbine oils: their quality declines, with loss of its deaerating properties, foaming and deterioration of anti-corrosion and anti-wear properties and decrease of aging resistance.  Such processes are inadmissible as they can lead to accidents and serious financial losses.

In order to prevent it from happening, it is advised to process turbine oil (clean, filter and regenerate) significantly extending its service life.  GlobeCore supplies this equipment to electric power industry.

The inspection showed all plants at HEPP operating well and fully coping with their tasks, keeping the high quality of treatment after several years of operation.

CMM-4Т oil purifier is operating since 2008 demonstrates especially good results.  It performs complex purification of hydro turbines oil to 9th grade of cleanliness with original cleanliness of 13th grade.  The CMM-4Т plant can be used not only in filtration mode but also in filtration, drying and degassing modes depending on condition of turbine oil.

Visit to HEPP once again confirmed the highest quality of GlobeCore equipment as well as its readiness to solve the biggest challenges of electrical power equipment operation.

An International Electric Energy Conference Has Been Held in Kazakhstan
